Missions

We aim to make missions a big deal at Ramsey Creek because Jesus made it a big deal first. He said, "Go into all the world and make disciples." Someone more recently has said, "The great commission is not an option to be considered; it is a command to be obeyed" (Hudson Taylor). We desire to partner with people who are obeying that command.

Here are some of the missionaries our church supports regularly.

The Dieringer Family (serving in Vanuatu)

Aaron and Jamie and their children Sadie, Akela, Waverly, and Vigo serve on a remote island in Northern Vanuatu. They will be working with the Motlap language group in Mota Lava supporting the ongoing work of Bible translation and encouraging Scripture Use. No existing long-term, cyclone-safe homes are currently available on Mota Lava. Aaron and Jamie found a derelict home on Moto Lava that was suitable for renovating have just finished!

They plan to use this ministry home and office as a focal point for their language learning and translation support as well as a base for their ministry--conducting meetings, Scripture-Use Bible studies, workshops, literacy support, and strengthening relationships with the locals. They will also use the home to host prospective missionaries. The Dieringers hope that God will use this home to bless the community and be a light for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

ABWE International.

Cristian (Cristi) & his wife Michelle are serving as church planters in Romania with their four children Myles, Kyler, Aaralyn, & Elyana. They seek to reach the Romanian people for Christ through planting churches, discipleship, and mobilization. They explain their vision:

"We recognize that our calling to a missionary life, and the strength that we need to be successful in this endeavor come completely from God. Therefore, our ministry effort will be driven by a total reliance on the Lord through consistent prayer. We are committed to planting cross-cultural, reproducing, indigenous churches where local leadership is discipled to the point of being able to train their own future leaders."

You can find more information through their website here and connect with them on Facebook here.
